A Visit to Wallington Hall

It has been such amazing weather this February and it is a shame to waste the sunshine. These are the sort of days to get in the car and explore. I decide to get in the car and drive 15 miles up the road and go to Wallington Hall as it is the perfect place to have a stroll with a friend and the pups.

Being a member of The National Trust is a real bonus as you can visit lots of amazing places with no need to worry about the cost . There is a lot going on around the gardens and you can see the amount of work the gardening team have put into the clearing of areas that are overgrown and need attention.

love the delicate grass, its almost like a pencil drawing
looking down the beautiful walled garden
loved this dried floral arrangement in the greenhouse . The squirrels added a bit of fun

I would always recommend joining The National Trust. A good way of doing that is by setting up a direct debit. It is for a good cause and keeps our wonderful heritage safe.

We are very lucky to live in Northumberland and to have some amazing gardens and houses to visit. Most places will allow dogs and there is always something new going on. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/ I
